1210 WIEN | Stammersdorfer Straße
Living in Lissen.
Stammersdorf is one of the few places in the city that was able to preserve its village character and charm. The old vineyard name “In den breiten Lissen“ is not a relic of bygone days. The many wine taverns in this area are proof of a continuingly vibrant wine culture – far off the beaten touristic path. There, at one of the most relaxing places of this jewel in Vienna’s north – the Marchfeldkanal – a low-energy house with 40 apartments is currently under construction.
A quick jump from the green belt to the city’s centre.
Surrounded by single-family houses, market gardens and, in some places, pristine nature it still just takes a short stroll to the tram lines 30 and 31. If you are in a hurry to get to the centre, just take regional the bus line 125, which will take you straight to the subway line U1 and the rapid transit line at Leopoldau in 15 minutes, and straight to Stephansplatz in no time.
