NUMEROUS ACCOLADES FOR LIVING GARDEN
SUSTAINABLE PROJECT IMPRESSES JURIES
Living Garden – the vertically greened building in Seestadt Aspern – was already awarded with the “klimaaktiv Gold-Standard” by the Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (ÖGUT) during its project planning phase. Now, the score of ÖGUT’s klimaaktiv completion certificate was even increased from 900 to 959 of 1,000 possible points – veritable proof for VI-Engineers’ high implementation standards.
The Austrian Sustainable Building Council also honoured the project’s high quality, which spans from its planning and construction stages to its ultimate utilisation: Living Garden received the council’s Total-Quality-Building completion certificate.
The overall concept, with its innovatively greened façade as well as its spacious open and urban-gardening areas of a particularly sustainable quality also convinced the top-class jury of InterConnection Consulting, which chose the Living Garden project for the award “Ecological Flagship Project 2019” at this year’s residential building congress (“Wohnbau-Kongress”).
This is as good as it gets – we are thrilled to be recognised for our efforts in the field of sustainable construction.
