LIVING GARDEN: TOPPING OUT CEREMONY
The green house is growing higher and higher
The basic structure of the spectacular “Living Garden” project in Seestadt is completed, the shell is finished. Therefore, the topping out ceremony of this “living” building was held on September 4th, 2018.
Even though the dimensions and design of the shell structure are already impressive, the building’s actual special feature is yet to come. But one can already imagine quite easily how the plant cover will grow in spirals along all floors, right to the top.
The participating contract workers and numerous guests from the industry gladly joined the ceremony for a first look at the project. One could see how proud Horst Lukaseder, the Managing Director of VI-Engineers responsible for the project, and fair-finance’s Markus Zeilinger were that day. Experiencing such an exciting building is definitely not an everyday occurrence, not even in Aspern.
